Attractions

While there are many beautiful sceneries to feast your eyes on during a visit to Jewel Changi, we narrowed down some of the notable attractions you will not want to miss.

HSBC Rain Vortex

This monumental structure is situated right in the centre of Jewel. At a height of 40 metres, the Rain Vortex is the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.

HSBC Rain Vortex

Given how you probably will not miss the attraction – you are immediately greeted by the waterfall the moment you enter Jewel – this is literally one of the centrepiece attractions of the mall.

As gorgeous as the waterfall is in the day, it is equally mesmerising at night with the Light & Sound show running daily at hourly intervals from 8:30 pm – 12:30 am.

Jewel Changi Attraction: Rain Vortex

Visitors can marvel at the attraction from various vantage points around the mall.

Shiseido Forest Valley

Visitors can immerse themselves in nature by trekking the four-storey-high Forest Valley. With more than 900 trees and palms, and about 60,000 shrubs, one can discover plants from all over the world here in this garden wonderland.

Jewel Changi Attraction: Forest Trail

This trail is broken up into two parts; a west and an east trail.

The west trail includes an interactive art installation amidst the greeneries while the east trail comprises of a panoramic view of the cascading waterfalls.

Lounges

As you can probably imagine, there are many spaces within Jewel to sit around and relax. In fact, there are even lounges for travellers to rest before they head over to the airport.

Changi Lounge

For travellers who have spare time before flying off, they can enjoy refreshments, free Wi-Fi, business facilities, shower, and nap at the 150-seat Changi Lounge.

The lounge even allows baggage storage and early check-in services to allow travellers to enjoy an unencumbered experience in Jewel.

YotelAir

YotelAir offers business travellers who have a layover to enjoy a conducive space to catch a breather. Guests can stay at this 130-cabin sized lounge for a minimum of 4 hours to an overnight stay.

The cabins include essentials such as free hi-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and more.

Pokémon Center

Lounge: Pokemon Centre

While there are more than 200 retail shops in Jewel, fewer shops have received more attention or hype than the Pokémon Center opening.

This opening marks the first time an official Pokémon merchandise store is launched outside of Japan; Singaporeans now no longer have to travel to Osaka to catch ‘em all – their soft toy companions are now within reach.

F&B outlets

Amongst the myriad of delectable gastronomic options available for all – which we will cover again in future articles – we channelled our focus on two specific restaurants.

Shake Shack

F&B: Shake Shack

Yes, it’s here – the world renowned New York burger chain Shake Shack makes its highly anticipated debut in Singapore. From burgers and crinkle-cut fries, to decadent milk shakes, you can expect a long queue at this famous fast-food restaurant.

A&W

F&B: A&W

Singaporeans who are born before the 2000s have their prayers answered; the much clamoured A&W is finally reopening its fast-food chain in Singapore after a 16-year hiatus. Fans of the restaurant can evoke fond memories with their famous root beer float, burgers, and their coney dogs. Similar to Shake Shack, a long queue can be expected at A&W.

Attractions in the Upcoming Canopy Park

In addition to the variety of activities and shops available for visitors at Jewel, the mall still has plans in store for visitors that will only be available to the public by mid-2019.

For folks who enjoy strolling along gardens and getting lost in the midst of flora and fauna, this recreational space is set to include seven activities that might fascinate you:
